Trump’s Project 2025 on

National Defense & Veterans

With only 9 percent of young Americans now showing a propensity to serve – the lowest percentage in fifteen years – it is critical that the U.S. military is inclusive to all groups of Americans looking to serve our country. Project 2025 could prevent current and future Americans from having the opportunity to  serve, by placing restrictions on LGBTQ+ americans ability to serve and rolling back DEI initiatives.

According to Project 2025, an incoming conservative administration would:

  • Expel those with “gender dysphoria” from military service.
  • Reverse policies that allow transgender individuals to serve in the military
  • Rescind all departmental clinical policy directives that are contrary to principles of conservative governance starting with abortion services and gender reassignment surgery
